Sisters e S.T.E.A.M. is currently operating as an after school program in the Woodland Hills School District. Sisters e S.T.E.A.M. is a program for 7th and 8th grade young women at Woodland Hills Academy. Each fall, new 7th & 8th graders are interviewed to join the sisterhood. Young women in Sisters e S.T.E.A.M. participate in core programming for two years.
How do I connect with Sisters e S.T.E.A.M.?
Sisters e S.T.E.A.M. also operates two key programs for young women who do not attend Woodland Hills Academy. Sister II Sister, premiering in Spring of 2016, will pair Sisters e S.T.E.A.M. members with young women from local middle and junior high schools in Allegheny County. Our first site will be with Woodland Hills Junior High School. Sister II Sister brings Beautistry and Thoughts & Bots to young women across the city.
Sister II Sister also operates through a popUP program. We are always in the community supporting the interests of young women in the STEAM fields. Whether we are doing birthday parties, at early learning centers, or working with young girls in other school districts, Sisters e S.T.E.A.M. is always available to share their mission of improving the lives and health of young women.
